According to the company, as of March 2021, the relevance of open digital educational platforms in Russia for a wide audience is confirmed by the results of a survey of the Donor Forum of more than 1.5 thousand experts from universities, various companies, public and educational organizations, schoolchildren, university graduates, parents and teachers and the population as a whole.

The Donor Forum study focused on the current practice of corporate and private donor support for education. Its results showed that the pandemic emphasized the request for support of teachers during the development of technology. In addition, almost 75% of Russians surveyed believe that retraining and employment are almost inaccessible to the elderly or parents in the decree, and experts are concerned about the growing level of digital inequality among students.

said Alexandra Boldyreva, Executive Director of the Donor Forum

I have not believed in a cool-lesson system for a long time. I believe that it is not congruent with the next generation. At IThub college, we introduce mixed project training and build the ecosystem into which our student gets, having every opportunity to go through various educational trajectories. And in this vein, vendor educational platforms are certainly in demand and help us create other forms and technologies in training.

said Mikhail Sumbatyan, creator and director of IThub International College, founder and president of the International "Association of Certification Specialists"

The Open P-TECH platform was created by IBM to use the experience of the full-time P-TECH program (short for Pathways to Technology - "paths to technology"), launched in 2011. On the free digital learning platform Open P-TECH, the main modules are adapted to the interests and needs of students and teachers and cover topics and areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data science and cybersecurity, as well as professional skills and design thinking. According to the results of the training, you can receive badges for placement in resumes or social networks.
