In March 2021, LLC Agro-industrial Complex Rus agreed to introduce an unmanned control system for agricultural equipment Cognitive Pilot.

It will be installed on Claas Tucano harvesters and used for harvesting wheat and barley. The time when unmanned equipment for harvesting crops will be put into operation is not reported by March 22, 2021.

The representative of the agro-industrial complex "Rus" Grigory Yalovenko said that thanks to the use of the autonomous control system of the combine based on artificial intelligence Cognitive Agro Pilot, the agricultural enterprise will be able to significantly reduce harvesting time, fuel costs, increase day production of the combine and reduce direct crop losses. This Russian development is ahead of many foreign analogues in its characteristics, he added.

Dmitry Ivanov, deputy manager of the Ryazan branch of Sberbank, noted that the results of the industrial use of Cognitive Agro Pilot in the 2020 harvesting campaign confirmed the high level of development, its effectiveness and short payback periods.

By March 2021, LLC AIC Rus is one of the largest agricultural enterprises in the Ryazan region with a land use of more than 10,000 hectares. The main areas of its activity are the production of milk, meat, grain and honey. Rus was the first agricultural enterprise in the Ryazan region to introduce a smart solution for managing agricultural transport.[1]
