Credit Europe Bank JSC (Russia) has implemented Smart Code Engine software product for recognition of QR-codes in mobile application. With it, bank customers can perform various payment operations according to the QR code, such as, for example, payment of housing and communal services, various receipts, invoices, fines. This was announced on March 23, 2021 by Smart Engines.

To pay, it is enough for the user to show the QR code to the camera of the device, after which the code will be automatically read and the details entered in the payment form. Credit Europe Bank customers do not need to look for a convenient view and special lighting conditions for recognition. The Smart Code Engine reads the code even if it is corrupted or deviates from the standard.

Smart Code Engine is developed by Smart Engines and allows scanning linear and matrix barcodes QR, AZTEC, PDF 417, DataMatrix, CODABAR, CODE_39, CODE_93, CODE_128, EAN_8, EAN_13, ITPC_PC, UE_Barcode recognition is supported in the video stream in real time and in individual photos.
