2020: Implementation of WMS TopLog in Norilsk warehouse

On April 6, 2021, Toplog announced the implementation of a project to integrate the WMS TopLog system in the warehouse of the world manufacturer of equipment and engineering solutions for mining and rock excavation. The warehouse of Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology in Norilsk came under the control of the WMS TopLog solution in October 2020.

For four months, Toplog experts carried out the entire range of work on automation of the customer's warehouse logistics, from an audit of all business processes to the launch of WMS into industrial operation.

A wide range of automated warehouses includes many nomenclature names: drilling tools, spare parts for mining equipment - from washers with bolts to engines.

The first results of implementing WMS TopLog in the warehouse were:

• Automate all business processes
• Minimizing the negative impact of the human factor;
• Transition from paper technology of acceptance, transfer, selection, shipment, picking, inventory to the use of data collection terminals (TSD);
• Determination of the location of the goods in the warehouse in automatic mode taking into account zoning conditions;
• Automated creation of tasks for personnel to fulfill orders;
• Clear understanding by the warehouse staff of the daily work front.
