2022: Setters bought 10% of Piarhaba
On October 18, 2022, it became known about the sale of 10% of Piarhab's business to the Setters communication agency. The transaction cost amounted to $125 thousand.
The agreement involves an increase in the share of Settlers in Piarhab to 30%. In the next two years, the founders of Settlers plan to invest up to $400 thousand in the development of the PR direction, the company said on October 18, 2022.
It is noted that the unification of independent agencies will allow partners to provide full-cycle services for customers of both companies. Setters did not engage in PR purposefully, the focus of the team is strategies and creativity, design, branding, as well as the creation of cross-functional projects. After buying a stake in Moscow Piarhab, Setters is ready to offer promotion services.
Buying a stake is a partnership, not a takeover, the agency noted. In addition to cash investments, Setters and Piarhab will unite employees in working on client cases, as well as create common independent projects. Both teams remain independent and have no plans to merge.

The number of clients of the two agencies by mid-October 2022 totals more than 100 Russian and foreign brands. Partners intend to expand the pool of partners, as well as strengthen work with non-profit organizations. Over the years, Setters and Piarhab have created projects for Greenpeace, Nochlezhka, Vera SNTVera, Help, House with a Lighthouse, Attention, Love Syndrome and other foundations.[1]
