2021: Venture Capital Company
At the end of December 2020, the ex-head of the Department of Information Technology (DIT) Artyom Ermolaev registered the company Otra Digital. Among the activities of this LLC with an authorized capital of 10 thousand rubles were:
- development of computer software;
- advisory and computer technology work;
- computer equipment management activities;
- computer and information technology-related activities;
- provision of other personal services not included in other groupings.
Artyom Ermolaev himself, in a conversation with Vedomosti, noted that the company will not engage in software development directly, but will advise venture market players and invest in promising Russian startups. Also, Otra Digital will become part of the Digital Disrupt venture club, Ermolaev added. He refrained from revealing the details of the project.
Digital Disrupt invests both independently and together with partners working in the IT industry around the world. Among them: international venture funds Mindrock Capital (USA, San Francisco), Starta Ventures and 13 Ventures (USA, New York), investment holding Avenir, etc.
TAdviser contacted Artyom Ermolaev for comment on the creation of Otra Digital in February 2021. His representative then reported only the following:
There is nothing to comment on so far, because an organizational structure is being created within the framework of current activities. That's why it's a routine.[1] |
