2021: Implementation of Kryon RPA
System integrator and developer Navicon April 7, 2021 said that together with Tele2 they implemented a joint project on robotization and the creation of local competence centers (LCC) for RPA. Tele2 introduced the Kryon Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform.
The project allows Tele2 specialists to independently automate routine business processes without contacting IT specialists.
As of April 2021, Tele2 provides communications services in 68 regions and pays great attention to digital transformation. Tele2 seeks to promote the development of technical competencies among employees of business departments that are not related to the IT Directorate. Thanks to this, they will be able to independently participate in automation processes, without the active involvement of developers.
Employees of the IT company helped to deploy and configure the platform, after which they conducted training on the development of robots for 20 Tele2 specialists. In four days, each of them, with the support of Navicon, created and commissioned its own robot. In addition to them, another 70 employees attended the course: some of them also developed software robots with the support of the Tele2 IT Directorate. After completing the escort program, Navicon conducted a reduced training program, which lasted two days, for 60 sales employees - 40 of them developed robots in about a month.
Thus, Tele2 employees have created more than 70 robots: more than half of them work autonomously on the server. Also, following the results of the project, the company has its own Competence Center for Kryon RPA, which began work on eight LCC in different business divisions.
In just three months, we were able to develop more than 70 different software robots, which now take over part of the routine tasks of employees. At the same time, the speed of work was quite high: for example, with consulting IT support, some developers from the LCC created robots in just one working day. But even in other cases, development took much less time than RPA platforms usually require. The reason is that the robot, thanks to the capabilities of Kryon, is created by an employee from the LCC who best knows how a particular business process should work. This prevents IT analysts from being involved or wasted on additional analysis. An important component of success, in my opinion, is an established and active interaction with the IT partner team. Navicon specialists helped track the progress of employees undergoing training and fully accompanied the development process, "comments Bogdan Gusak, process robotization manager and project manager, Tele2. |
{{quote 'In our opinion, the demand for self-service systems designed to solve various business problems has increased significantly - this is one of the main IT trends. Customers are increasingly interested in working independently with solutions and creating their own centers of competence for certain technologies. Tele2, as a representative of one of the most technological industries, is no exception, "said Sergey Xu-Kei-Ming, project manager, Navicon. }}
