The Federation of Creative Industries is aimed at promoting the development of creative industries as an important segment of the Russian economy and a driver for improving the quality of life. Among the tasks in which the Federation will participate are expanding the dialogue of creative industries with the state, providing systematic support to all market entities that determine the development of the creative segment, analyzing and popularizing the best practices of interaction with representatives of the business environment and state structures.

The Federation of Creative Industries includes more than 20 organizations, including professional associations, creative unions, research and consulting centers, and creative business companies.

Among the participants of the Federation are the Association of Writers' and Publishers' Unions of Russia, the Institute of National Projects, the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT), the Association of Animated Cinema of Russia, the Russian Association of Electronic Communications (RAEK), the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR), the Union of Composof composers and other associations of creative professions and creative business.

Members of the Federation are convinced that today creative industries are one of the most promising and dynamically growing. In Russia, they have significant potential, but at the same time they need stimulating measures: under favorable conditions, the contribution of the creative segment to the national economy can be much higher than today.

2021: The Federation of Creative Industries forms the core of the economy

The launch of the "creative industrialization" program in Russia will allow three times the growth of the creative economy segment in the next five years, according to members of the board of the Federation of Creative Industries. The activity of FCI is based on a cross-industry approach. This means that issues that are equally important for each of the creative industries - for the entire creative business - from special tax and investment regimes to the modernization of the system of protection and export of intellectual property should be addressed as a matter of priority.

The FCI believes that Russia, like a hundred years ago, faces a historical choice - the need to switch to a fundamentally new economic policy. FCI aims to ensure productive interaction of creative industries with the state and society.

The creation of favorable conditions for the development of creative infrastructure will contribute to solving the general problems of the national economy, said Igor Namakonov, Director General of FCI: "It is important to launch a process of forced increase in creative potential in the country. This process, in fact, means' creative industrialization '. "

If creative business and state authorities manage to start working together, the result will not be long in coming, said Andrei Krichevsky, member of the board of the FCI, president of the IPChainAssociation: "The possibility of a rapid increase in creative and creative potential in Russia is beyond doubt, but its conversion to economic results is completely insufficient - the share of creative industries in the country's GDP is now only 2.3%. The correct perception by the state of the role and importance of creative industries will allow, together with their professional participants, to ensure a systematic adjustment of institutional mechanisms. Interaction with the state and the creation of regional ecosystems are only two of the seven key areas of work of the Federation. "Creative industrialization" also implies a focus on conducting regular field research, improving the infrastructure of creative entrepreneurship, investing in creative industries, education in creative business and popularizing creative entrepreneurship. The relevant committees were allocated to the organization, their work will be supervised by members of the Federation Board.
