As explained, the delivery of goods to Lamoda is carried out by the LM Express own delivery service, as well as with the help of logistics partners. As of April 2021, LM Express's own delivery service covers more than 1000 cities and delivers 90% of orders. The company employs 3,000 sales representatives who deliver on branded cars. Delivery of goods to regional warehouses is carried out by own and attracted transport of various carrying capacities.

The number of orders in the online store is growing rapidly, the load on the delivery service is increasing. The issue of efficiency in the use and management of transport resources of the company became a priority against the background of this, the goal was to maximize the capabilities of existing IT solutions in the market, ensure their full integration into the business processes of the company and optimize the degree of automation of processes.

Lamoda management decided to introduce a logistics management system that would optimize the planning of main and inner-city transportation, ensure reliable control over transport and fuel consumption. In addition, it was necessary to organize an operational assessment of the qualifications of drivers, to strengthen control over the validity of their documents and documents for transport.

As the basis for the accounting system, the system "1C: Transport logistics, forwarding and control of CORP vehicles" developed by 1C together with 1C-Rarus was chosen.

The implementation and adaptation of the information system was carried out jointly by the Lamoda IT department and the 1C-Rarus project team. As of April 2021, the system employs about 400 users throughout RUSSIAN FEDERATION.

Key project results:

  • The system is integrated with third-party services and software modules. Information base 1C is automatically loaded data with information on fuel and lubricants refuelling using Lukoil, Petrol Plus cards (fuel cards All-terrain vehicle). Information on payment of parking lots comes to the system from the website of the Parkomatika service. Integration with the service for paying fines SDA "Штрафов.нет" Analysis and management of promptly arriving information allows you to control the work of drivers and the costs of fuel and lubricants.
  • The system sets fuel consumption rates for each subdivision taking into account correction factors for areas with special working conditions, as well as depending on the vehicle model. GSM flow planning has become more accurate, actual GSM consumption remains within the forecast flow interval.
  • The calculation and preparation of consolidated information on the work of the transport unit has been simplified. For example, the preparation of the GSM expenditure report based on the results of the month previously took 2 working days, after the implementation of 1C: Transport Logistics, Forwarding and Management of CORP Vehicles, it takes 2 hours to receive the report.
  • Mandatory testing of drivers for knowledge of traffic rules and the basics of safe driving is automated. The system stores questionnaire variants, calculates the average response score and assigns the driver readiness category to perform work tasks. This allowed to reduce the number of accidents involving Lamoda cars.
  • The system records documents for vehicles and drivers: STS, PTS, medical certificate, CTP, driver's license, etc. The program warns about the approaching time for renewal of documents, downtime and fines due to non-compliance with the deadlines for replacing documents are kept to a minimum.
  • The program implements operational and long-term planning tools for the needs of trunk transport. The plan is formed on the basis of the documents "Demand" and "Order for HW," control over the implementation of the plan is carried out using reports. Based on planning and tariff management data, a freight budgeting model has been developed. As a result of the implementation of the module, users refused to use Excel tables, analytics on actual and planned performance indicators, deviations and their causes are collected in a single information base without distracting employees from the main work.
  • The solution "1C: Transport Logistics, Freight Forwarding and Motor Vehicle Management CORP" became the basis for automation of all motor vehicle management processes in the company. On the basis of the module, a project is underway to introduce a satellite monitoring system, plans for the further development of the system. Data from the 1C: Enterprise 8 information database is consolidated and used in the enterprise data warehouse, where analytical reports are generated from these data and data from other systems.

All this allowed the company to more effectively manage the operation of vehicles, ensure the timely delivery of orders, adapt and build the work of the transport division to the needs of the business, helping it to actively develop. According to the results of the analysis of the last 6 months of work, the number of orders delivered is 2 times more than in the last same period.

Summarizing the results of the work, I would like to note that our expectations from the implementation of the "1C: Transport logistics, forwarding and management of CORP vehicles" system have been fully realized. We refused to work with disparate programs and services, structured the data, reduced the labor costs of personnel for entering documents and analyzing performance indicators. Thanks to the information system, it is possible to cope with the increasing number of cars, orders being executed and meeting the needs of the business.
