2021: Delivery of eight MRK-15 for Russian power structures
The resident of the special economic zone of the capital, the Special Design and Technology Bureau of Applied Robotics (SKTB PR), delivered a batch of eight MK-15 mobile robotics systems designed for explosive ordnance disposal for Russian power structures, Technopolis Moscow said on April 14, 2021 from the words of the head of the investment and industrial policy department of Moscow Alexander Prokhorov.
Moscow is one of the leaders in the production of service and industrial robots in the country. So, metropolitan robots-manipulators already perform cyclic routine operations at dairy and confectionery-bakery plants, the production of cable products. Special-purpose robots created by SKTB PR serve in the army, work in the EMERCOM of Russia, solve various problems in conditions of increased radiation in the nuclear industry. The company has been operating on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ since 2013. During this time, the company produced more than 30 robotic complexes of various classes and purposes, capable of remotely operating under human control in dangerous conditions, "said Alexander Prokhorov. |
According to Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, robotic complexes have passed several stages of inspections.
A feature of the implementation of the last batch of products of SKTB PR was the conduct by the state commission of acceptance and qualification tests of sapper robots, including climatic, vibration and impact tests, most of which were organized directly in the SEZ at the Pechatniki site. No other robotic complexes produced in Russia have previously been subjected to such a volume and testing regimes, "said Gennady Degtev. |
The main task of the RK-15 robotic systems is to replace a person during work on the disposal of explosive objects, said Ilya Laverychev, Deputy General Director of SKTB PR.
{{quote'The developed complexes are multifunctional. They can perform visual reconnaissance, use a manipulator to transport explosive devices, open them using an electric tool or destroy them using a hydraulic destroyer, "he added. }}
