Russian developers ask Enlightenment to ensure compatibility of electronic textbooks with Russian OS

According to formations Softline Sergey Terletsky, the head of the system department in the department, the issue of compatibility with Linux can be resolved by creating a web version of the application - in this case, it is enough for schools to have a good one - in WiFiInternet classes. The expert noted that there is already an example of a compatible application of the LECTA educational platform from the Russian Textbook Publishing House.

The publishing house "Enlightenment" told the newspaper that they comply with all the requirements of regulators, including those that oblige to ensure the operation of electronic textbooks on three operating systems, including two mobile ones.

Earlier in 2021, the Ministry of Digital Arts and the Ministry of Education prepared a joint order according to which the software on school PCs should be compatible with the Russian OS from the register of domestic software.

In his opinion, a vicious circle is obtained: schools cannot use Russian OS, because new educational content does not work under them.[1]
