2021: QR Code Payment Arrangement via PSU

On April 15, 2021, Raiffeisenbank announced that, together with the retailer of healthy sleep products Askona, they provided the company's customers with the opportunity to pay for comfortable sleep products using the QR code through the Quick Payment System (SBP). The service for accepting payments through SBP is available at all outlets of the company - more than 850 stores throughout [[Russia].

SBP provides customers with another simple, convenient and secure way to pay for Askona goods and services. The QR code for a time-limited payment is generated automatically by the cash desk and displayed to the customer on the monitor. It is enough for the buyer to put a smartphone camera on the code, and then make a payment on the opened payment page in the mobile application of his bank. More than 50 Russian banks are connected to the SBP as of April 2021.

Askona uses current technologies both in the process of creating and selling products for comfortable sleep, "says Vladimir Korchagov, executive director of retail. - The connection of payment service through SBP in partnership with Raiffeisenbank gives our business, on the one hand, more favorable conditions for accepting payments - a low fee and instant credit to the account, on the other hand, the opportunity to offer our customers another fast and easy way to pay.

Thanks to the operational and coordinated work of the Askona and Raiffeisenbank teams, the SBP launch project was carried out in just a month. Connecting the business to the payment service via the SDB does not require changes in the technical infrastructure of the partner, which significantly reduces the cost of integration. This was made possible thanks to the development of Raiffeisenbank - a QR code with a limited lifetime, which the cash desk can independently create and then check the status of payment.
