2021: Delivery of PTV Traffic Suite

On April 22, 2021, SIMETRA announced the equipment of the Technical University of Moldova with software complexes for transport modeling.

SIMETRA has delivered the academic versions of the PTV Traffic Suite to one hundred workplaces. The University will use software to train students in transport planning and modeling.

Technical University of Moldova systematically prepares personnel for the transport industry of the country. Technologies do not stand still, an engineer in the field of transport infrastructures should be able to effectively use the software, and our students will be helped by PTV Traffic Suite software complexes, "said Viorel Bostan, rector of the Technical University of Moldova.

An academic license delivered at TUM will give the university the right to use the PTV Visum, PTV Vissim, PTV Viswalk and PTV Vistro software products for educational purposes.

It is impossible to be a good transport engineer without being able to use technology. PTV software solutions, which were transferred to TUM, allow you to conduct this work at a high technological level: create mathematical transport models to assess the effectiveness of the development of transport systems of cities, regions and countries, as well as plan sustainable development of territories, "said Christian Böttger, Development Director of SIMETRA.
