2021: Launch of sales of autonomous lawn mower robots in Europe

In April 2021, sales of fully autonomous robotic lawn mowers Robomow RK and RT began in Europe. Devices will be sold in Russia, but a little later in the summer.

Lawn mower robots are able, according to the developers, to cut the lawn evenly in areas up to 2000 square meters. They are equipped with a high-performance brushless engine, a scrubbing function and a GPS module for more accurate positioning.

The manufacturer provided for a "floating" cutting deck, which allows you to cut grass evenly on uneven soil and with slopes of up to 30%. The height of the haircut can be adjusted to four levels from 15 to 60 mm.

Robomow RK is an advanced model that has all the features of the Robomow RT series, but is more powerful and supplemented by a number of innovations. For example, Robomow RK pokes grass along the boundaries of the lawn, while models easier leave thin lines of uncollected grass around the perimeter of the lawn. Edge trim mode allows you to automatically mow outside the wheelbase.

The width of the roe at RK is 21 cm, the height of the roe - up to 10 cm, and the maximum operating time reaches 120 minutes. On the Robomow RK housing there is an LCD display for managing the main functions without starting a mobile application.

Robots are equipped with 360-degree "circular" sensors, due to which they go around obstacles, such as human legs or toys thrown out on the lawn. The manufacturer also draws attention to off-road wheels that ensure the passage of lawn mower beds and other irregularities. The special arrangement of the wheel tread protrusions minimizes the contact surface with the turf, which protects the roots and prevents the formation of irregularities.

In Europe, these lawn mower robots cost 750 euros, the price in Russia is 55 thousand rubles.^[1]
