Builders in Moscow began to use smart suits with AI that assess labor efficiency. The press service of the mayor and the city government reported this in May 2021.
We are talking about a project of digital duplication of the activities of workers on construction sites, which is jointly carried out by the Department of Information Technology and the National Research Technological University "MISiS."
A smart suit for monitoring and visualizing the activities of workers, using artificial intelligence, is tested on masons and welders. The suit registers and transmits from six sensors to the server information about the movements of workers and their physiological condition. The server processes data, determines operations performed by employees using neural network algorithms, and also converts data to build 3D visualization of actions in real time.
The results of the data analysis allow calculating the percentage of work performance, the time of active work and inactivity, the number of violations of safety and labor protection rules.
Totals, physiological status, and 3D visualization of actions are displayed in the developed web user interface. It provides statistical reports for each worker individually and across the site.
As the head of the Information Technology Department Eduard Lysenko noted, the system showed its effectiveness and functional suitability - it helped identify 456 violations of safety and labor protection rules.
Making managerial decisions and redistributing labor resources based on an analysis of the results can lead to a reduction in potential risks in the field of violations of safety and safety rules, deviations in the schedule of work, production costs, material losses and time for making operational decisions on the management of construction work, "he said.[1] |
