Biography

Was born on June 14, 1975 in Moscow. Graduated from the Tula highest artillery engineering school majoring in "The software of ADP equipment and automated systems".

From 1998 to 2002 worked in the Central Bank of Russian Federation within implementation of large projects on informatization.

In 2002 passed into the Asteros group (at that time Bee-Ey-Si) where was engaged in development of practice of management systems of IT. In 2006 became the Head of Department of projects and consulting. In 2011 headed the directorate of operational applications of Asteros Consulting company entering into the Asteros group.

Since April, 2013 - the head of a business unit "Asteros Information security". Also control of implementation of key projects is responsible for strategic development of this direction, interaction with key partners of group.

In December, 2012 the Asteros group announced adoption of the new business development strategy within which four business units with the complete financial responsibility and uniform command center were created. Among them there are Asteros Consulting, "Asteros Engineering and IT infrastructure", "Asteros Service" and "Asteros Information security" (the KABEST brand earlier).

The decision on Alexander Chizhov's appointment to a post of the head of a business unit "Asteros Information security" was made unanimously by board members of the Asteros group after Burdelo Ivan who was earlier heading this direction left the company to focus on implementation of own projects.

Alexander Chizhov is responsible for strategic development of a business unit and coordination of activity of the divisions driving in its structure. The output of the company to new perspective market niches, formation and development of a solution portfolio and services, monitoring of policy of relationship of the company with vendors, control of implementation of key projects will also be introduced into the block of duties of the new head.
