2021: Migrating Site Infrastructure to Softline Cloud

The online edition "Driving" transferred the site infrastructure to the Softline Cloud cloud platform. This was announced on June 17, 2021 by Softline.

The implementation of the project allowed the customer to ensure the stable operation of the portal, as well as compliance with 152-FZ, which requires the placement of personal data in the territory of the Russian Federation. About 70% of the Behind the Wheel infrastructure has been transferred to the Softline cloud. The customer plans to increase this volume.

The project team was able to ensure not only the stable operation of the site in the cloud, but also the "airbag," Softline noted. Like many online publications, "Driving" needs to cope with seasonality: a sharp surge in the number of visits at certain periods. So, especially for the customer, the Softline cloud holds a reserve of resources in case of dynamic infrastructure growth. At the same time, the period of allocation of reserve capacities is up to 4 hours.
