2021: Launch based on the CloudMTS platform for monitoring the health of patients with Parkinson's disease

MTS, which provides digital, media and telecommunications services, announced on June 23, 2021 that it had joined the project to create a digital platform for Parkinson's disease analysis. With cloud# CloudMTS, doctors will be able to remotely observe and monitor changes in patients' health to provide them with timely medical care. The project is implemented on the basis of the FEFU Medical Center as part of a federal grant.

A special digital platform will be launched in the# CloudMTS cloud to quickly monitor the health of patients with Parkinson's disease. The portal is a closed resource where all seaside patients with such a diagnosis will be able to register and upload information about their well-being daily in their personal account. This will allow doctors to monitor any changes in the course of the disease and provide medical care in a timely manner, including remotely.

Placing a medical platform in the cloud will help ensure its high availability to patients and reliability of operation. Since the project involves the storage and processing of personal data, a certified segment of the MTS cloud is involved, which provides high security and corresponds to 152-FZ "On Personal Data," the company emphasized.

"We are implementing cloud projects for Russian companies and the public sector. The example of using cloud solutions for such a socially important area as medicine demonstrates how versatile and easy cloud technologies are in any area. High-quality and affordable medical care is inseparable from the introduction of progressive technological solutions. It's nice that our cloud capacities will be involved in such a truly good business, "said Evgenia Sysoeva, director of MTS in Primorsky Krai.

"Almost one and a half thousand people with a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease live in Primorye, and more than two hundred thousand live throughout the country. Usually such patients visit the doctor once or twice a year, and, unfortunately, after a year it is already a completely different person - with more serious disorders. The advent of an electronic platform will significantly facilitate the format of the doctor-patient-relative interaction, and the constant collection of data on the state of the patient will allow the doctor to draw up a complete picture of the development of the disease and provide assistance. Unfortunately, Parkinson's disease is incurable, but you can and should slow its course and help people suffering from this disease. And modern information technologies can really help in this, "said Arthur Biktimirov, neurosurgeon at the FEFU Medical Center.
