Add semantic markup

Contour. Sayn was the first of the SKB Kontur products to be available to blind and visually impaired users Service team for EDO with individuals. Kontur.Sain added semantic markup to the product. This will help visually impaired users sign electronic documents. The developer announced this on September 26, 2023.

The main users Konturs.Saina are self-employed who work remotely. Among them are blind and visually impaired people who use screen readers. To enable them to operate in Saina on their own, the team finalized the service to meet the requirements of digital content availability.

Screen readers are screen access programs through which blind users interact with digital content. These include Jaws for Windows, NVDA for OS Windows, Voice Over for MacOS and iOS, TalkBack, Jieshuo for mobile devices. In order for these programs to correctly process information, semantic markup was added to Contour. Sayn. Thanks to this, the user using the screen reader will be able to understand the structure of the page and navigate through interactive controls: buttons, links and fields for entering text.

Ability to separate departmental document flow and send documents at customer's expense

In Kontur. Sine, you can divide the document flow of departments and send documents at the expense of the customer. This was announced on July 20, 2023 by SKB Kontur.

The Subdivisions module allows you to divide the document flow of different departments. It is enough to create a department in the service, add the necessary employees to it. Now employees will work only with documents of their department and will not see documents of other departments.

For example, the marketing department enters into contracts for copywriting, advertising and video editing. The technical service uses the services of loaders and handymen. The document flow of these departments does not intersect, so it is worth organizing it separately: then employees will be able to quickly find contracts of their department and will not know the expenses of the neighboring unit.

With the "Reverse charging" module, the company can pay for documents that it received from the counterparty. This is relevant when the counterparty must be the first to sign and send documents, for example, acts of work performed. At the same time, payment from it will not be taken - the document will be written off from the balance sheet of the receiving company.

2021: Launch of the "Contour. Signature" service

SKB Kontur June 23, 2021 launched a service for electronic document management with self-employed and individuals.

Contour. The signature allows you to remotely obtain an electronic signature and exchange legally significant documents.

Contour. The signature speeds up the exchange of documents with self-employed and freelancers tenfold, excluding paper document flow. It takes from 1-2 hours to prepare and print paper documents, and from a day to several weeks to send and wait. Exchange of documents in the Contour service. Signature occurs on average in 5 minutes, maximum in 30, if both people are not registered in the service

Users of the Contour service. Signature will be able to sign, exchange and store electronic documents. Documents signed in the service are of legal significance. They can be used as evidence in court or sent to the tax office.

At the same time, for signing, you do not need to receive a qualified electronic signature (KEP). Each document is signed by an unqualified electronic signature (NEP). Such a signature is an analogue of handwritten. To get it, it is enough to go through remote identification in the service.

For documents signed by the NEP to have legal significance, the parties must sign a special agreement. In it, you need to list the rules for using the signature and recognize its legal force. It is this agreement that users of the service sign during registration.

In the service, you can sign any documents for which you do not need a CEP, for example, service contracts, acceptance certificates, inventories or receipts.

The Contour service. The signature is suitable for:

• organizations that hire individuals and self-employed under GPC or provide them with services under an agreement collect closing documents.
• Self-employed and individuals who fulfill orders or provide services under the contract.
