Main article: CAD Computer-aided design systems

Autoproject is an automated process design system.

2000: Functions of CAD "Autoproject"

According to information for 2000, the Avtoproekt CAD consisted of the core of the system and the environment of application tasks. The main functional modes of the system can be divided into two groups: functions of the design subsystem and functions of the database management subsystem.

Functions of the design subsystem:

  • automated process design;
  • automatic generation of a set of process documentation;
  • Ability to set up sample process documents
  • integration with COMPASS-GRAPH 5.x;
  • Automatically generate sketch maps in MS Excel
  • cataloging of developed TPs in the technology archive;
  • the possibility of global analysis of archival technologies;
  • automatic replacement of any information (outdated GOST) in archival technologies;
  • maintenance of design and technological specifications;
  • Document Management (Project Manager functions)
  • possibility of development of end-to-end TP;
  • Calculation of material consumption rates;
  • data transfer to technology from parameterized COMPASS-GRAPH drawing;
  • Live view of graphics: drawings of parts, tools, sketches of operations, etc., performed in any graphics system;
  • automated generation of part code in accordance with ESKD and TKD;
  • Automatically search for technologies by part code or text description
  • archiving of the current set of process documents in the map archive;
  • archiving of the current composition of specifications in the product archive;
  • calculation procedures.

Functions: DBMS

  • implementation of information models reflecting the structure of the product, parts and their manufacturing technologies;
  • The ability to customize the contents of the main menu units of the system
  • possibility to connect new information arrays (.db and.dbf files);
  • possibility of accessing databases located outside the root directory of the system;
  • possibility to connect new programs developed by the user to the system;
  • built-in report generator;
  • organization of hierarchical, relational and network communication of information arrays;
  • The ability to connect to any data field of the reference array
  • possibility of structural modification of any DB;
  • Multi-page mode of access to multiple databases at the same time
  • Data displays: graphic text, structure text, note text;
  • Search by criteria in any database
  • Export data from any database to a text format or Excel file format
  • blocking from unauthorized access to a secure database;
  • The ability to set different degrees of data protection
  • Display and print data, copy, delete records in one and two blocks
  • Configure system settings using a configuration file.[1]

1991: Creation of CAD "Auto Project"

CAD technological processes "Avtoproekt" was created at the Research Institute of Aviation Technologies in 1991 (developer Ph.D. Andrichenko Andrei Nikolaevich). The system made it possible to design technological processes: machining, stamping, assembly, welding, heat treatment, coatings, calculate cutting modes, labor intensity of technological operations and normalize material consumption.

The system implemented a universal data model, which allows you to create any hierarchical model by configuration and display it in the form of a graphical navigation scheme. The enterprise administrator has been able to create new navigation schemes and make changes to existing ones using special system configuration tools.

The process model in CAD TP "Autoproject" was presented as a three-level chain of related relational tables: "Part" - "Operation" - "Transition," whose records, depending on the type of process operation or transition, could change the composition and name of their fields - attributes. This feature of the universal model made it possible by means of customization to create technologies for various types of production and to model any composition of their instrumentation.

The flexibility and the possibility of configuring the Avtoproekt system during the implementation and operation in industrial production was a decisive factor in its efficiency and viability.
