Wayzim to supply sorting equipment for X5 hub

2021: Agreement on Delivery of Automated Sorting Line

On July 5, 2021, X5 Retail Group announced that 5Post and one of China's artificial intelligence and innovation companies, Wayzim Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co. signed a cooperation agreement.

Weizim will become a supplier of sorting equipment for the X5 hub, where 5Post orders are distributed. The first automated sorting line with a processing speed of 15 thousand parcels per hour will be installed at the hub in Bogorodsk by the beginning of September 2021. Its capacity is 6 times higher than the capacity of the sorting equipment operating in July 2021 in the hubs Bogorodsk and Raven. The sorting line from Weizim will improve the accuracy of sorting shipments at the hub and process orders with a large range of dimensions. Additional sorting belts will allow you to unload parcels directly from cargo cars to the conveyor.
