On July 14, 2021 the Aerodisk company reported about what together with 7pro was modernized IT infrastrukturufederalnogo fund of compulsory health insurance. As part of the project, companies have replaced legacy servers and storage systems in different virtualization environments with current ones, taking into account the growing requirements of the organization.

The project was implemented in two stages. At the first stage, two Enterprise-Mid-range Aerodisk Engine N4 enterprise storage systems were installed in the Federal MHI Fund.

At the second stage, it was installed Aerodisk Vostok storage system on the basis of, processors Elbrus-8C fully certified in accordance with the requirements and. FSTEC Ministry of Industry and Trade

The model is optimal for creating an All-flash configuration from SSD drives. Commissioning, intermediate testing and testing before commissioning took a month.

At the second stage, the Aerodisk Vostok storage system was installed, fully certified in accordance with the requirements of the FSTEC and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and two Aerodisk Engine N4 storage systems were upgraded: specialists connected additional DAEs and added solid-state media.

All three systems in the project run entirely on solid-state media: this approach made it possible to do with a small number of media and DAEs, providing maximum performance.

Native solutions have replaced EMC VPLEX-based storage virtualization with two HP EVA and EMC VNX storage. In addition, servers based on Intel processors of the Nehalem microarchitecture generation and older were decommissioned.

According to the results of the project, in the conditions of a heterogeneous load of virtual infrastructures, Aerodisk and 7pro specialists achieved a total load of 120-150 thousand I/O operations per second - even with their double growth.
