2021: Announcing Windows 365 Cloud Business OS

On July 14, 2021, Microsoft announced the Windows 365 cloud operating system, which will be provided to the business using the subscription model. The new product allows companies to create cloud PCs based on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (when it comes out) and assign them to employees. You can access the system through any modern browser or Microsoft Remote Desktop application.

The service provides access to applications, content, settings and file storage in the Microsoft cloud devices based on Linux, macOS, as well as tablets iPad or running Android.

Since all data will be stored in the cloud, and not on the device, organizations and enterprises will be able to develop greater flexibility and security, said Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.

Constantly updated and based on the capabilities and security principles of Microsoft, Windows 365 simplifies protection and recommends optimal protection settings for a specific environment, "said Microsoft.

The company also notes that Windows 365 also makes it easier to deploy, upgrade, and manage systems because it does not require virtualization. With endpoint-optimized Windows 365, IT professionals can purchase, deploy, and manage Cloud PCs for their organization just as they manage physical PCs with Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Windows 365 will be publicly available to businesses of all sizes from August 2, 2021. You will need to pay for Windows 365 monthly, according to the number of connected users. The subscription price by July 15 is not called.

Small and medium-sized businesses can purchase Windows 365 directly or through a cloud service provider and quickly configure Cloud PC for their organization.[1]
