Mars-500 (Cortés: Address warehouse)

The Cortes company automated accounting of warehouse stocks in modules of the project on simulation of the piloted flight to Mars. Automation is executed based on the specialized solution "by Cortes: An address warehouse" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. The implemented system significantly increased effective management of the stocks necessary for carrying out an experiment allowed to optimize placement of resources in limited scope of an experimental complex.

On June 3, 2010 the international experiment Mars-500 which is carried out by Institute of medicobiological problems of RAS under the auspices of Roskosmos and the Russian Academy of Sciences began.

"Under the terms of the Mars-500 project we for 520 days isolate 6 people from the outside world in an experimental complex. During this time all stages of flight to the Red planet will be simulated: from start from the spaceport before landing on the surface of Mars and a way back to Earth, – Pavel Morgunov, the press secretary of IMBP says. – During isolation at us as in real flight, there will be no continuous communication with crew so they should work independently. In these conditions it is very important to facilitate life of our colleagues as much as possible. And automation of storage of huge 520-tidnevny stocks of different goods, food and the equipment plays for us a crucial role".

"Specialists of Institute asked us for the help in the organization of address storage, its need became obvious based on last experiments when at testers problems with search of objects and products began to arise at once, and eventually problems only grew. The demand of address storage even in such, rather small on the area, objects, but with the wide range of the stored values is indicative", - the development director of Cortes company Kurkin Mikhail says.

Within the public contract with IMBP RAS the Cortes company delivered the system of address accounting of Inventories "to Cortes: An address warehouse" (the specialized solution on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform certified on "1C: Compatible!").

Despite essential differences of an experimental complex from a normal warehouse, the standard solution "Cortes: An address warehouse" it was implemented with the minimum modifications: interfaces of the program for convenience and speed of execution of operations, required for testers were adapted and also interfaces for work of foreign participants of an experiment are translated into English.

Implementation of technology of address storage, barcoding and use of data collection terminals for identification of goods allows to exclude problems of search of goods in a warehouse of an experimental complex, significantly reduces errors of regrading and increases work speed in general.

Using Motorola MC9590 data collection terminals connected to base of an inventory control "by Cortes: An address warehouse" on a radio channel, crew members will be able to find without difficulties the necessary objects in the directory, to define their storage location, to keep account of the used things, to move them between cells and also to carry out inventory and to reject the become useless goods.

The specialists of service of providing an experiment working with base "Cortes: An address warehouse" from stationary jobs, received the instrument of accounting and control of the resources consumed by marsonavta. It will allow to collect on completion of an experiment statistics about necessary and sufficient material security of flight.

Based on an experiment is going to collect wishes of crew members on improvement of a system and to continue cooperation with Roskosmos and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
