Otkritie Bank on July 29, 2021 announced that it had commissioned a data processing center for companies of the Otkritie financial group. The consolidated data center will help ensure that IT infrastructure is adaptable to business growth, lower the cost of owning computing power, and increase the availability of IT services. The technological partner of the bank in the project was the company "Jet Infosystems."

The key task of the project was the transition from a disparate infrastructure to a single solution based on its own highly accessible and centralized data center. Before the start of work, the computing capacities of the group's companies - Otkritie Bank, Otkritie Broker, Otkritie NPF, Rosgosstrakh Insurance Company, Rosgosstrakh Bank and others - were located on 35 geographically distributed server sites. This data center in Moscow on Okskaya 13 has become the second target high-availability data center and will help complete the consolidation of previously disparate equipment and services. The target data center architecture will allow Otkritie Bank and group companies to more effectively manage IT resources through a single operation service and centralized monitoring and control tools.

The solution, designed and implemented with the participation of the banking technology center of the IT company "Jet Infosystems," makes it possible to quickly scale the available capacities to the needs of the group companies and put into operation new machine halls to accommodate racks with server equipment.

The built data center occupies 4 thousand square meters. m and has a maximum capacity of 422 posts, of which 192 were installed as of July 2021. Server racks are located in four independent machine rooms, two rooms for entering external communication lines, cross-country and service rooms. The equipment in them is provided with uninterrupted power supply according to the 3/2N redundancy scheme and cooling supply according to the N + 1 scheme.
