2021: Creating a Stem Cell Register to Save Cancer Patients

A stem cell register is needed to find an unrelated stem cell donor to a patient. The register database contains data from pre-examined potential donors with precise HLA phenotype parameters. Sometimes blood cancer patients die because they cannot choose a suitable donor. At the same time, it can be found among people of similar nationality, so a national register is needed.

Oleg Tinkov was diagnosed with an acute form of leukemia. The businessman underwent a bone transplant operation. By brain August 2021, it continues to recover from the disease.
