The holding "Technodinamika" of the State Corporation Rostec on August 24, 2021 presented a prototype of glasses for combating insomnia Blue Sky pro. The product allows preventing sleep disorders and restoring daily biorhythms within one to two days. Glasses are intended for mass use, but can be used by military personnel to restore strength.

The prototype Blue Sky pro is made of environmentally friendly high-strength composite material of Russian production. The product has a set of removable nose stops, the user will be able to choose the most convenient for himself. In addition, the glasses are equipped with the most versatile connector for charging the type-c format.

The prototype of Blue Sky pro glasses is one of Rostec's civilian developments. The product allows you to fight sleep disorders and restore human biorhythms within a couple of days. Glasses will definitely interest people suffering from insomnia or forced to regularly fight jet lag in connection with business trips. At the same time, they can also benefit military personnel, including pilots, helping them recover faster, "said Oleg Yevtushenko, executive director of Rostec State Corporation.

In the morning, the device allows you to get rid of drowsiness, and in the evening - to "postpone" sleep until about 23 hours. To fully restore the sleep and wake cycle, glasses must be worn for half an hour a day at specified hours.

We plan to start mass production of glasses in 2022. In terms of output, they are focused on about 15 thousand pieces. The price of the device may range from 7 to 30 thousand, depending on the material used, "said Igor Nasenkov, general director of Technodinamik Holding.

The invention is created in partnership with Samara State Medical University and will be produced by the Technodinamik holding.

Preparation for production start-up

Samara Electromechanical Plant of the concern "Techmash" will begin the production of special Blue Sky pro glasses for regulating circadian modes. The device allows preventing various sleep disorders and restoring daily biorhythms within one to two days.

Novikombank provided the company with a bank guarantee of 228.5 million rubles in order to attract in 2019 a loan from FRP in the amount of 208 million rubles for the implementation of this project.

The spectrum of light emitted by Blue Sky pro glasses is similar to sunlight in the morning from 6 to 10 hours and in the evening from 14 to 18 hours. Getting on the retina of the eye, it activates the brain cells responsible for the "internal clock." As a result, the body switches from night to day.

Glasses will also be useful when changing time zones for more than three hours and when working on a night shift. They will also help improve well-being in depression, neuroendocrine diseases and reduced attention concentration. The effectiveness of development has been proved in the course of neurophysiological research.
