2015: Implementation of Iridium Galileosky
The integrator company M2M Telematics Siberia installed Galileosky terminals on heavy wheeled equipment of Elgaugol LLC. The decision paid off in 3 months and allowed to reduce fuel consumption by 20%. This became known in August 2021.
Project prerequisites Elgaugol LLC (Neryungri, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is an operating company that owns a license to develop the Elginsky deposit of premium quality hard coking coal.
The vehicles were based at a distance of more than 200 kilometers from the field, a significant area of their movements was not covered by mobile communications. Management of the company could not control remotely a consumption of the fuels and lubricants (FL), suspected fuel "plums" by drivers.
Required:
- Implement fuel flow control system.
- Ensure continuous operation of the system in severe climatic conditions.
The project was created on the basis of Iridium Galileosky 4 terminals (discontinued as of August 2021). The system includes fuel level sensors and alarm buttons in the event of a rollover of the machine.
Terminals were installed on all wheelchairs working in the coal quarry: KAMASES, URALs, MAZs, ZILS. Only 32 cars.
As part of the development of the system, it was carried out integration with a server Wialon multifunctional system GPS GLONASS and monitoring. transport
The project fully paid off in the first 3 months of operation.
Expenditures on petrol, oil and lubricants (GSM) decreased by 20 per cent per annum.
Travel sheets are now closed according to the actual fuel and lubricants consumption, and not according to approximate driver estimates.
Terminals operate properly at temperature from -50 to +40℃.
