On August 19, 2021, TEK-Torg announced that Rosneft developed and placed the Import Substitution section on the federal electronic site of TEK-Torg. It will help Russian manufacturers get the necessary information about the principles and key areas of the localization and import substitution program implemented by Rosneft and take a direct part in it.

The Import Substitution section at the ETP was developed by the Rosneft digitalization, innovation and localization unit together with TEK-Torg JSC in order to support Russian manufacturers, increase the speed of obtaining information and simplify procedures for participating in the localization and import substitution program.

This section allows you to apply for participation in product development, conducting pilot tests at Rosneft sites. Also in the section "Import substitution" there is information for manufacturers who managed to establish mass production of products.

Since 2015, Rosneft has been implementing its own corporate program for the localization and import substitution of equipment and technologies, aimed at ensuring the sustainability of its production activities and fulfilling government tasks in the field of import substitution.

Its goals are to develop Rosneft as an oil and gas company through the use of promising import-substituting technologies and products, ensure its technologically stable position on the hydrocarbon market by increasing the share of Russian products, and develop infrastructure for the implementation of projects in the field of exploration, production, processing and transportation of oil and gas through the localization of production.

The corporate program of localization and import substitution is based on the goals and objectives stipulated by the strategy and long-term development program of Rosneft.
