2021: First mention of a robot
In August 2021, Elon Musk introduced a human-like robot that will do "boring" work.
According to Mask "Tesla Bot," a prototype of which is due to appear in 2022, is designed to eliminate "dangerous, repetitive and boring tasks," such as bending to raise something or go to the store for products. "Essentially, the future of physical work will be a choice."
Tesla Bot is based on the same chips and sensors used in Tesla cars for autonomous driving.
The anthropomorphic robot is based on a completely autonomous Dojo computer and neural networks that can recognize the world and navigate in German. Tesla Bot height will be 172 centimeters, weight - 57 kg, and instead of a face it will have a screen with useful information. He will be able to reach speeds of up to eight kilometers per hour. Tesla creates a robot so that people can defeat it or run away from it. Musk noted that at first the robot may not work as it is conceived.
