2014: Corporate Ethics and Adaptation Electronic Course for Uralkali
Uralkali is one of the world's leading producers of potash fertilizers.
The company's production facilities are located in the cities of Berezniki and Solikamsk Perm Territory.
The company supplies its products to more than 60 countries. In August 2021, the Uralkali Group employs about 21,000 people, so the systematization of employee knowledge and the promotion of corporate values are relevant for the company.
It was for the implementation of these tasks that two courses were developed for Uralkali in a short time: Adaptation Course for Employees of Uralkali PJSC and Corporate Ethics in the Company.
Adaptation course for employees of PJSC Uralkali
The purpose of the course is to convey knowledge of the organization and its rules.
The objectives of the course are:
- Creation of a positive image of the company.
- Support the period of adaptation of new employees.
This electronic course is aimed at newly employed workers, specialists and heads of all structural divisions.
The main character of the course, Alexei, is a new employee of Uralkali. Throughout the course, experienced mentor Peter accompanies the newcomer and introduces him to the basic rules and intricacies of working in the company. Thus, the main character successfully overcomes the adaptation period.
For us, this is the first adaptation course, which presents the anthem of the company. Users can not only read its text, but also listen to the audio version.
Corporate Ethics in Company e-Course
The purpose of the course is to improve the corporate culture, expand the channels of intra-corporate communications, as well as increase the efficiency of feedback, loyalty and employee engagement.
The objectives of this course are:
- Formation of a healthy ethical basis of labor relations in the company.
- Communicate information the mission and values, ethical standards of the company to each employee.
- Reduce the number of ethical conflict situations.
The target audience of the course is the leaders of different levels of Uralkali.
The course is presented in the form of illustrated cases that address various problem situations that reflect the scope of the company's ethical standards.
All cases are woven into the plot of the course, where the main character - an employee of the Uralkali company Peter - receives the task from his boss to monitor how ethical standards are observed in various divisions of the company.
In each of the topics, the user, together with the main character, becomes an observer of various situations and conversations that can occur between employees of the company. At this moment, Peter is faced with a situation in which it is necessary to make a behavioral decision.
To understand how to act correctly in a particular situation, how to correctly answer an employee's question, the user turns to theory.
After studying the theoretical material, the user performs a practical task in which he makes a decision on a previously stated problem situation.
In the course development process, our employees were able to understand all the intricacies of anti-corruption and antitrust provisions.
Both courses are done in a restrained and strict style in accordance with the corporate standards of Uralkali. There are also a lot of locations in them, and all these rooms are absolutely identical to the real ones.
Despite the fact that the customer was at a distant distance from us (in the city of Berezniki) and with a time difference of 2 hours, this did not prevent us from maintaining constant communication and quickly resolving issues. And the presentation of both courses was successfully carried out on Skype.
We called with the customer even at 9 a.m. on the eve of the New Year to resolve urgent issues.
As a result, we managed to develop two large voiced courses in a short time. Both are made in a single strict style, which is ideal for such a large and serious company as Uralkali.
We managed to achieve such results due to the fact that the courses were developed in parallel, and the customer was always in touch with us.
