History

2021: Raising $262,000 investment from Embria Fund

The Cyprian EdTech-Skillsetter on August 30, 2021 announced the attraction of investments in the amount of $262 thousand from the the European fund. Embria

Initially, the company created online courses in the format of a simulator (the user enters the IT company, where he solves practical problems, works with tools, communicates with colleagues and receives a fidbeck from the manager). As of August 2021, Skillsetter is engaged in comprehensive training and development of specialists for IT companies: it teaches in the format of a simulator, conducts career consultations and at the end of all training recommends partner companies.

Skillsetter plans to scale the business. In particular, Embria's investments are supposed to be spent on developing the product line and strengthening the team. The goal by the end of 2022 is to build a company that will train and develop specialists for IT companies with a success rate of graduates of 90%.

As of August, Skillsetter has 70 partner companies that consider graduates as future employees. For students, this is an opportunity to receive an invitation to an interview without screening from a recruiter. For companies, this is an opportunity to get specialists with real skills.

Third stage of Skillsetter development
