Electronic document management in the State Inspectorate for Real Estate is carried out by a virtual employee. This was reported by the State Inspectorate on September 2, 2021.

Software robots (robotic process automation, RPA) allowed to free up the forces of employees to perform other tasks, including working with citizens' appeals and requests from departments.

An RPA robot is a program that, according to certain rules, exactly repeats the actions of a specialist. The algorithm embedded in the robot, depending on the specific task, allows you to work with folders, files, e-mail and various information systems. The robot never gets tired and works with routine tasks up to 100 times faster than a person, helping to accelerate the internal processes of units of the Moscow Government and better process the appeals of citizens.

Moscow is one of the few megacities in the world where RPA is used to solve urban problems. Robotization allows you to automate the performance of routine operations and thereby more quickly help citizens in solving emerging issues. In the State Inspectorate for Real Estate, robots help register documents, upload reports to monitor the execution of applications, as well as search and process postal documents, and then send them to the addressees. So, in the capital's GIN, the robot independently works with electronic documents, uploads a report on the results of inspections carried out by the State Inspectorate for Real Estate on legal entities on these topics and divisions, updates contact data by uploading contacts of organizations from SPARK - a publicly available directory of legal entities and sends this information by e-mail to the responsible employee. Previously, employees manually entered and received data from various automated systems using email and other resources, and spent a lot of time on this, part of this process is robotic - now robots are doing the work.

As a result of the introduction of the robot in the State Inspectorate for Real Estate, the speed of electronic document circulation has significantly increased. So, the actions that previously took the employee about 3-4 minutes, now take seconds. At the beginning of September 2021, the formation of a register of mail items, the preparation of draft instructions, the registration of outgoing and incoming correspondence and a number of other processes were automated, "said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate.
