2021: Start of deliveries

On September 3, 2021, it was announced the start of deliveries of the first Russian portable incubator for newborns Bonny, created by the Schwabe holding (part of the Rostec state corporation). The first is the equipment of the National Medical and Surgical Center named after N.I. Pirogov.

The device constantly monitors the condition of the child and allows you to safely transport the newborn from door to door. The device is capable of maintaining heat inside the module, measuring body temperature, blood saturation, heart rate. The device is autonomous from external power sources and provides reliable protection - noise and vibration will not disturb the peace of small patients during the flight. The device works up to 4 hours without recharging and is designed to transport children weighing from one to 6 kg.

The incubator allows doctors to monitor and analyze the state of the newborn in flight: to track the dynamics of changes in the state of the child. In addition, it is equipped with an intelligent system that responds to a change in vital functions with an alarm signal, "said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.

Rostec notes that the Schwabe mobile neonatal incubator is the first Russian device of this type. The device is mass-produced by the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov (UOMZ). The development was awarded prizes and diplomas of international exhibitions of medical equipment.

It is planned to equip specialized medical facilities, ambulances and air ambulance helicopters with portable incubators. By September 2021, the National Air Ambulance Service (NSA) operates in Russia. The project provides for the creation of a fleet of sanitary helicopters, 130 aircraft bases, a network of mobile fuel stations, helicopter platforms in more than 1.5 thousand healthcare institutions.[1]
