2024: Modernization of the fleet of copying and printing equipment

The group of companies X-Com has modernized the fleet of copying and printing equipment of FSUE "" Hydrographic enterprise- a structural unit of the state corporation Rosatom"." Within the framework of the project, the working groups of the enterprise are equipped with productive ones that MFP fully meet the requirements of its work processes. X-Com announced this on March 13, 2024.

X-Com specialists conducted an audit of the current fleet of copying and printing equipment of the customer, during which bottlenecks in the organization of paper document management were identified and a number of practical measures were developed to eliminate them. One of them was the replacement of many outdated and economically inefficient personal printers and MFPs located at user workplaces with professional MFPs of A3 format.

Based on the average monthly volume of color and monochrome printing of the enterprise, as optimal in terms of price, cost of ownership and performance, the customer was offered the introduction of the KONICA MINOLTA bizhub C450i MFP with additional options. This device allows you to print and copy medium and large volumes of full-color and monochrome documents at speeds up to 45 ppmin, as well as scan them in color and b/w. The 10.1 "multi-touch color display provides simple and intuitive control, and automatic media type detection and built-in single-pass duplex auto-feed improves speed and ease of use.

The project was carried out in strict accordance with the contractual conditions in terms of volumes and terms. The modernization of the fleet of copying and printing equipment in the first month allowed the customer to reduce the cost of processing printed documents by more than 30% and increase the speed of paper document circulation. The project contractor was determined on the basis of an open tender among Russian suppliers of copying and printing equipment. The system integrator X-Com, which is part of the Group of Companies of the same name, proposed the best conditions for the implementation of the project and was recognized as the winner.

2021: IT Infrastructure Upgrades

On September 9, 2021, the company X-Com announced the completion of the project for the development of the information system of FSUE "" Hydrographic enterprise- a structural unit of the state corporation Rosatom"."

To implement the development strategy, the customer needed to scale the data storage infrastructure, expand the fleet of copying and printing equipment, and equip the workplaces of employees with client equipment.

X-Com engineers have audited the customer's information system, including server hardware, storage and processing systems, network infrastructure, and software. In addition, an analysis of the working processes operating in the organization, their relationships, as well as tasks performed by specialists of various profiles was carried out. The data obtained made it possible to develop detailed recommendations for the composition of the equipment, draw up its detailed specifications and develop a technical design for the modernization of the IT complex of the enterprise.

To expand the capacity of the storage infrastructure, it includes additional ones Synology NAS arrays DS720 designed for optimization data management and multimedia. The fleet of copying and printing equipment has been expanded to include a number of MFP Kyocera M8124cidn and Kyocera M2040dn. To equip the workplaces of employees of the enterprise, they used computers their own production of X-Com, made in accordance with the requirements of the customer, software as well as monoblocks and MSI Acer Veriton Z4870G laptops Modern.

The equipment is integrated into the customer's infrastructure, the necessary commissioning works have been completed. The project was carried out in strict accordance with the terms of the contract. As a result, a reliable technological base for the implementation of the customer's strategic plans has been created.
