Lite 5G X80 Model Announcement

On September 22, 2022, Vivo introduced the X80 Lite 5G smartphone for the global market, the device is the youngest model in the X80 line. The phone, among other things, comes with a back panel that can change color under the influence of light.

The X80 Lite 5G smartphone has a Dimensity 900 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. Power will be supplied by a 4,500mAh battery and also supports 44W charging. On April 11, 2022, vivo officially unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the vivo X Fold.

According to the company, one of the key elements of the development of a foldable smartphone is the creation of a strong connection. The vivo company has paid attention to the integration of the aerospace class mount, as this directly affects the overall performance and usability of the device of this format. To fully match the performance, vivo equipped the smartphone with the next generation Snapdragon 8 chipset Gen1 SPU with 4nm MEP. GPU rendering speed was increased by 30% thanks to UFS 3.1 flash memory and extended LPDDR5 storage, so vivo X Fold reads and writes data faster.

Taking into account the power requirements of a foldable smartphone, vivo has equipped the device with a 4600 mAh battery, which provides up to 21 hours of continuous calls, 12 hours of video conferencing or 8 hours of mobile games. The model also features 66 W vivo FlashCharge fast charging, which allows you to charge the battery to 50% in just 17 minutes and fully charge it in 37 minutes. In addition, the battery is equipped with 50 W FlashCharge wireless charging technology, which provides 10% charging in 5 minutes and full charging in 53 minutes.

The vivo X Fold imaging system is developed as part of a collaboration between vivo and ZEISS. The smartphone is equipped with ZEISS lenses, with a proprietary ZEISS T coating, optimizing the optical characteristics of the lenses by reducing dispersion and glare.

The X Fold features four full focal length cameras using ZEISS natural color calibration, ZEISS texture portraits and other full effects.

The X Fold design concept comes from a traditional Asian philosophy that unites simple geometric forms. Combining simple shapes with a variety of materials and textures, the designers sought to emphasize the dynamic nature and momentum of the X Fold smartphone.

In September 2021, Vivo introduced the world's first smartphone equipped with four cameras with optical stabilization for each. We are talking about the Vivo X70 Pro + model. On its back are four modules for photo and video shooting:
