The first car will be equipped unmanned control system and transferred to certification in "" in US early November 2021. The truck will begin to move along the M11 highway between Moscow St. Petersburg and in 2021, another eight will be connected in the second quarter of 2022.

Its own unmanned cargo fleet will allow the company to minimize the role of man in commercial cargo transportation between the two largest cities in the country. The innovation will solve two logistical problems at once: a lack of driver's personnel and low fuel efficiency.

The product BaseTracK Logistics SF launched by us is efficient and already carries huge savings: for a truck with a capacity of 20 tons, fuel savings are up to 20%. However, if you automate management and completely exclude a person from it, savings will become even more significant - up to 30% of current indicators. The cost of equipment per vehicle does not exceed $1000. The low price is due to the fact that the technology uses security systems already installed in trucks, "said Andrei Vavilin, founder and CEO of BaseTracK.

The installed control unit will allow you to control the processes of acceleration, as well as taxiing, speed of cars and braking. Despite the fact that test engineers will be located on the driver's seat, company representatives are confident that in the future 5 years it will be possible to completely abandon the person in the cab of the truck.

Earlier, the company announced the launch of a fuel economy system for trucks BaseTracK SF, consisting of a communications unit and a screen on which recommendations for energy-efficient car movement are displayed. At the end of May 2021, the developer raised $1 million from Angelsdeck investors to scale the service.
