2022: Raising $1 million

BaseTracK raised $1 million, which the company announced at the end of January 2022. Members of the AngelsDeck club invested in the startup, namely Sergey Dashkov, Igor Kaloshin, Evgeny Galiakhmetov and Anton Agranovsky.

The Russian developer of technologies for unmanned vehicles, received from investors, intends to spend on scaling its DeepTech product, increasing investment attractiveness and preparing for the future Series A-round, the BaseTracK press service said.

The company noted that in the digital model of the road, a "virtual rail" is laid, which controls the truck based on its configuration, weight of cargo and external conditions. The system automatically generates driving tips and recommendations for the driver that reduce fuel consumption.

By the end of January 2022, the technology was tested in 27 companies that are engaged in freight transportation, including PEC, FM Logistics, Crafter, Monopoly. The total fleet of trucks is more than 25 thousand cars. By this time, the startup is preparing a second version of the product offering the cruise control function, said BaseTracK founder Andrei Vavilin. According to him, the driver will only need to steer and monitor safety on the road.

Vavilin added that in the future the company expects to achieve full autonomy, in which a person will not participate in the traffic process.

By the end of January 2022, BaseTracK had already digitized the first To Europe 360 km long highway, and is also preparing a digital model of the Interstate 90 highway. The USA Russia company also managed to create models for 37 thousand km of roads. In the first quarter of 2022, it is planned to launch commercial unmanned transportation on the highway -. 2021: Raising $1 Million Investment in Seed Round

At the end of May 2021, it became known that the company attracted BaseTracK investments in the amount of $1 million. unmanned vehicles Club members have invested in the Russian technology developer for. venture capital investors Angelsdeck

The syndicators of the transaction were the founders of the Angelsdeck club Igor Kaloshin and Sergey Dashkov. The startup intends to spend the funds received on scaling the created product, creating digital doubles of roads, as well as expanding the geography of presence. In addition, BaseTracK plans to enter new markets and accelerate the development of an autonomous truck control system.

According to Angelsdeck, the development is based on the original "virtual rails" technology, which contains algorithms for optimal driving and an intelligent ADAS system. The solution is based on geoinformatics - mapping, navigation and scanning of the earth's surface. Car parameters, weather conditions and transport tasks are taken into account. Digital doubles of the main tracks have been created, with all descents and rises in centimeter accuracy. All this allows you to lead to fuel savings of 20%, noted in Angelsdeck. Fuel economy devices BaseTracK SF are manufactured on their own line in Podolsk.

Angelsdeck notes that unmanned technologies have huge prospects in the global market, as they are used for many tasks in managing passenger and agricultural transport, transporting large cargo. The market of autonomous control systems is projected to grow, which will begin in the most simple and safe applications: in closed areas, slow-moving equipment, in freight transportation.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, by May 27, 2021, 100% of the company BaseTracK belongs to Andrei Vavilin.[1]

2019: Smart ADAS System Development

According to information for May 2019, BaseTracK (Beistrek Rus LLC) is developing technologies for controlling and autonomous movement of a vehicle in ground, surface and airspace. In the classic ground version, the solution can be integrated into cars and trucks, combines, tanks, tractors, copters, etc. The main achievement is the creation of a reliable object positioning system without optical sensors, which allows the vehicle to move along a given path in any weather conditions and in the absence of road markings. In order to lay such a path (BaseTracK calls it a virtual rail), the company processes the geodetic data of the region and then puts the virtual rail in the memory of a machine or drone.

For driving, the system also collects a large amount of telematic data, including data on the driver, his concentration on the road, the state of the car and its elements, service, etc.

The software and hardware complex introduced into the vehicle is small and placed in the armrest of the car. It is important - it is closed from external interference, which allows you to protect the data embedded in the memory of the device from attacks by intruders.

The company does not position itself as a developer of unmanned vehicles for the urban environment. The company chose the way to develop a smart ADAS system. The patented technology "virtual rail" allows cars to keep their lane and thereby save up to 20% of fuel per 100 km, which is billions of rubles on the scale of large logistics companies.

In 2018, BaseTracK tested on the track Moscow - Volokolamsk and then performed at the largest forums of automotive engineers - Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo & Conference 2018 in Stuttgart,, and Germany FISITA World Automotive Congress 2018 in Chennai,. India Now the company is conducting several pilot projects in countries, in and Europe on the Japan Arabian Peninsula, but has not yet disclosed details.
