2021: Delivery of 244 Ford Transit vehicles

On September 21, 2021, VTB Leasing Group of Companies informed TAdviser that it had transferred a batch of 244 Ford Transit to Yandex.Drive. The machines were delivered on operating leasing for a period of four years as part of the renewal and replenishment of the Drive fleet.

Yandex is actively developing the logistics direction of its business in order to meet the growing demand in the b2b segment and for courier delivery services. According to the company's calculations, the increase in the Drive fleet will contribute to improving the quality and availability of services for users of the Delivery and Market services. Ford Transit cars will be used to deliver orders to the Yandex.Market marketplace in Russia.

When concluding the transaction, a non-standard operating lease agreement with individual conditions was used. The agreement also provides for receiving a subsidy under the program of preferential leasing of wheeled vehicles of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
