On September 23, 2021, Elecard announced that Electronic Arts, a representative in the field of digital interactive entertainment, chose the Elecard Boro monitoring system and StreamEye Studio analyzers to ensure the best quality live broadcasting.

EA regularly broadcasts e-sports tournaments and events on various OTT platforms, such as YouTube and Twitch. To identify errors and fix problems during the live broadcast and analyze the encoded video in detail, Electronic Arts integrated the Boro monitoring system and StreamEye Studio applications into the process of producing video content.

Elecard Boro is a client-server application consisting of 2 parts: software probes and a server that collects and processes statistics. Elecard Boro is used for one-time monitoring of 50 UDP or HLS flows. Boro probes are installed on cloud platforms after encoders. Probes monitor all faults in real time, which helps engineers make weighted decisions during the broadcast. In addition, probes were installed in partner CDN to monitor content delivery and insert regional ads. Elecard Boro is used to monitor 50 channels. Boro allows you to monitor quality at points located in different parts of the world, collecting data in one centralized place.

Elecard StreamEye Studio is a set of applications for professional video quality analysis that allows you to detect errors in the encoded stream, optimize video compression and verify compliance with standards. Electronic Arts uses StreamEye to verify compressed video formats MPEG-2, AVC and HEVC. In the case of a completely remote and virtualized process of video content production, there are many situations when it is necessary to encode and decode video several times before it. distribution StreamEye helps to accurately evaluate each compression-decompression cycle and measure the quality of decoded frames.
