Main article: Projectors (Russian market)

2021: DLA-NZ9, DLA-NZ8 и DLA-NZ7

On September 29, 2021, JVC introduced a line of projectors for personal cinemas. It includes three models with a laser light source: these are projectors with a throughput of 48 Gb/s, capable of receiving a video signal of 8K at a frequency of 60 frames per second and 4K at a frequency of 120 frames per second. They use the LSI chipset and proprietary 8K/e-shiftX technology.

According to the company, the projector is based on an optical unit with three liquid crystal arrays developed and produced by JVC. Devices in black will be available in Russia in December 2021 - you can purchase them in partner stores.

The series models are based on updated components and processors, and also use the proprietary JVC 8K/e-shiftX technology, which is responsible for processing and displaying images of proper clarity in 8K format. The case of the models remained the same - the user can change the projector without making changes to the design of the cinema. Stable chassis size is a feature of JVC models.

The ruler is based on the BLU-Escent light source. It uses a blue laser diode - it provides brightness up to 3,000 lm and a long life of up to 20,000 hours. Projectors are available in the Procision Series - DLA-NZ9, DLA-NZ8 and DLA-NZ7 models.

The main features of the ruler:

  • Home theater projectors with 48 gigabit 8K60p/4K120p inputs. Two HDMI 2.1 48 Gb/s inputs with HDCP 2.3 are suitable for next-generation devices, such as gaming computers.
  • Uses 8K/e-shiftX technology that provides near-natural 8K resolution (DLA-NZ9 and DLA-NZ8). E-shiftX is the next generation of E-Shift technology. The original 8K/e-shiftX technology through an additional optical module allows 8K resolution to be reproduced using the 4K matrix.
  • 8K60p/4K120p Video Reception and Processing LSI Chipset. The input 8K requires processing a large amount of information from the input to the output of the device - four times more than the usual input 4K. To do this, LSI technologies are used to ensure the proper image quality.
  • Due to this, the line will also have a "backlog for the future," offering support for the 8K signal for long-term use.
  • Uses BLU-Escent laser system.
  • Ensures proper image quality with dynamic light source control.
  • Supports HDR (Extended Dynamic Range). Added support for HDR10 + format, which uses dynamic metadata. In addition, the HDR10 format used in Ultra HD Blu-ray and streaming is available, and the HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) format used in television broadcasting.
  • It contains JVC Frame Adapt HDR and Theater Optimizer functions - they provide a proper HDR image.
  • Optimized accuracy of the patented Clear Motion Drive blur reduction technology.

Other functions:

  • All models are ISF certified and can be color calibrated by ISF certified engineers.
  • The Installation Settings feature allows you to save and easily call up to 10 types of installation settings.
  • Automatic calibration is provided to optimize optical characteristics that vary depending on installation and use conditions.
  • The screen correction mode is used to correct the color imbalance caused by the screen characteristics.
  • Structure with rear air intake and front outlet holes for various installation conditions, for example, for installation close to the wall.
