2021: Implementation of the "Atlas" electronic archive

The open joint-stock company Gomel Design Bureau Luch has introduced the Etlas electronic archive. This was announced on September 30, 2021 by Atlas Soft.

Design Bureau Luch is an enterprise in Belarus for the development and manufacture of antenna feeder devices. The second specialization of the bureau is the development and manufacture of medical equipment for medical and preventive institutions. Customers of the enterprise are located not only in the Republic, but also in Russia, Moldova, Ukraine and other countries.

As in any design bureau, the Luch enterprise has accumulated a large amount of design documentation, for the storage of which the Atlas electronic archive is now used. This software provides convenient and reliable storage of all types of documents, including design, financial and personnel.

The main features of the program:

  • Centralized and compact electronic storage of documents;
  • Quickly and efficiently search documents by both name and attributes and content
  • creation of directories and file cabinets for convenient work with archives; files
  • Protect documents from loss via backup
  • Customized access control to ensure confidentiality of documentation
  • secure remote access to the archive through; Internet
  • Working together with the same documents of an unlimited number of persons;
  • Simultaneous operation with electronic document repository and paper original warehouse.

The Luch Design Bureau has existed since 1968 - during this time, a voluminous archive of paper cases was formed at the enterprise. The functionality of the Atlas-Soft electronic archive in the standard configuration allows you to digitize and attribute them. If necessary, the program can work in conjunction with a in-line scanner, which allows you to digitize large volumes of the same type of documents automatically.

Luch has its own qualified technical specialists, so it carried out the installation and implementation of the electronic archive on its own.

The standard electronic archive deployment procedure includes:

  • receiving the distribution of the program
  • installation of software on the computers of the organization;
  • configuration of the system taking into account the specifics of its document flow;
  • testing of archive operation;
  • loading data into the system.

At all stages, Atlas-Soft technical support specialists provided the necessary assistance in installing and configuring the program. Technical support also includes a regular update of the program, expanding its functionality.

The introduction of the Atlas electronic archive allowed the Luch enterprise to improve its document flow, reduce the space occupied by the paper warehouse, and free its employees from the need to spend time searching the archive for paper originals.
