2021: Cooperation Agreement with CommuniGate Systems

The Government of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and CommuniGate Systems signed a cooperation agreement. This was announced on October 6, 2021 by CommuniGate Systems.

The document provides for the interaction of the leadership of the Republic and the development company in the implementation on the territory of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation "On establishing a ban on the admission of software originating from foreign countries for the purpose of procurement to meet state and municipal needs."

The agreement was signed by the Minister of Digital Development of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic Ruslan Kovalenko and the commercial director of CommuniGate Systems Vladimir Burgov.

The document involves the further implementation of joint projects, the participation of representatives of the development company and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic in conferences, meetings and seminars on the popularization of domestic software in the region. Bilateral cooperation is also planned in implementing the measures envisaged by the national project "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation."

In turn, the Government of the Republic will create conditions for increasing the share of the use of Russian software in State authorities and subordinate institutions (including in the social sphere - medical institutions and organizations of general education), local self-government bodies, State unitary enterprises and economic companies with State participation. CommuniGate Systems will develop proposals for the transfer of state, municipal and social institutions of the region to the unified communications platform CommuniGate Pro. It is especially noted that licenses for educational institutions of the Republic of CommuniGate Systems will be provided on preferential terms, in accordance with the current initiative of the company to support educational institutions.

The platform will provide users with a wide range of communication capabilities: email, calendars, instant messaging and corporate content exchange, collaboration, telephony, fast and secure file transfer. The Communigate Pro 6.3 communication platform is included in the Unified Register of Domestic Software, and also has a certificate of compliance with the FSTEC of Russia. As the signatories noted, CommuniGate Pro has already been tested at the Ministry of Digital Development of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

The project is envisaged until the end of 2023.
