I want to say about the personnel decision made - the chairman of the health committee Palferova Elena Alexandrovna decided to relieve the position of her own free will. The comments that we discussed following the visit of the Minister of Health last week force us to such a personnel decision, "said the governor of the region Roman Starovoit at an operational meeting of the regional administration.

According to Interfax, the head Ministry of Health Russia Mikhail Murashko in October 2021 during a visit to the Kursk region criticized the work of the chairman of the regional health committee Palferova, allegedly because local clinics did not switch to electronic medical cards.

After visiting the Kursk hospital, Prime Minister Mishustin, at a meeting with Governor Roman Starovoit, pointed out the low level of vaccination of the population, despite the fact that the region has enough vaccine, medical personnel and vaccination centers.

During the work of Governor Roman Starovoit, this is the third resignation of the head of the health committee. First, Olga Novikova left, who was part of the team of the former governor Alexander Mikhailov. Then the head physician of the Tubdispancer Vladimir Antsupov was appointed to the post, who was later also dismissed.

According to the Kursk Izvestia publication, Elena Palferova rarely appeared in public and practically did not comment on problems in the healthcare sector. Instead, this was done by the deputy governor Andrei Bialystotsky. Palferova often left Kursk, including for treatment - she was treated for COVID-19 coronavirus in Moscow.[1]
