On October 12, ASCON Volga announced the development of an application for design in COMPAS-3D by order of Atomenergoremont JSC.

According to the company, the application allows you to create around the model of the production plant, which requires repair or maintenance, a 3D model of the assembly of the scaffold structure. When you insert features from an application, they automatically mate with each other, while maintaining the ability to manually edit. Next, assembly or assembly drawing schedules are created automatically using COMPASS-3D/COMPASS-Graph systems. Users can access scaffold manufacturers' catalogs or replenish the database of finished items themselves.

When developing the application, the industry rules and norms governing the assembly of scaffolding in Russia were taken into account.

The use of CAD in the design of scaffolding structures taking into account the actual situation on the site allows to optimize the process of erection of scaffolding in compliance with all safety requirements. The automatically generated BOM used to pick the mounted parts eliminates the loss of time to deliver additional parts or to transport unused ones.
