2021: Acquisition of Ansys CFD

Ural State University of Architecture and Art (UrGAHU) creates high-tech projects based on Ansys engineering modeling software. The university's design center acquired a license for virtual modeling of aerodynamic, hydrodynamic, acoustic and thermal processes ANSYS CFD from the official partner of ANSYS Inc. - KAE Expert (part of PLM Ural Group of Companies), to provide engineering services to the real sector of the economy - construction organizations, to introduce the latest approaches in the design of structures. This was announced on October 15, 2021 by PLM Ural.

KAE Expert notes that regardless of the type of building, it must comply with aesthetic, technical and environmental standards dictated by time.

Companies that would like to take a leading position in the construction industry understand the importance of using a tool such as virtual modeling in their work. The corresponding software will allow you to calculate the fire hazard, wind load on the building, simulate the movement of air masses around the object, analyze the distribution of heat flows from heating radiators in the apartment of the house, evaluate the noise level when using noise insulation materials in the project, calculate the strength of structural elements from snow pressure and many other tasks, - said representatives of KAE Expert.

The software manufacturer, ANSYS Inc. offers a set of effective modeling tools that help engineers optimize building structures in the early stages of design, make objective decisions on the choice of materials, heating, air conditioning and other structural solutions.

{{quote 'This is a foreign software product created in the USA, which has been developed and continues to improve for more than 40 years around the world. ANSYS is a high-performance multi-module system that allows you to simulate virtually many physical processes, analyze the behavior of a prototype in operation, test and launch products into production.

To replace the outdated approach, when it was not possible to carry out comprehensive calculations of products for all types of loads and compliance with technical requirements, prototypes could collapse at the first stages of testing, returned for revision and again had to do a full cycle of design and technological work (design, evaluation calculations, production of a prototype, testing), a modern approach comes - a complete cycle of virtual tests that save time and costs for field experiments and reduce the time for the product to enter the market, "said Ravil Mukhametov, technical consultant of the KAE Expert engineering analysis department.}}

The KAE Expert company has been collaborating Ural state with the University of Architecture and Art for more than a year. In the future, partners plan to exchange experience, conduct joint training in working with software products and jointly perform scientifically research work.
