Microsoft Forefront Client Security

For protection of complexes of technical and software tools Microsoft Forefront Client Security was selected. Software differs in a high integration scale with the product-based IT infrastructure of the same vendor existing in the company and also a broad set of solutions for protection of operating systems of workstations and filtering of mail traffic. Besides, the MFCS software product can be it is unrolled on thousands of nodes with an ability to manage from a uniform point and without loss in performance.

Delivery of licenses and implementation of an anti-virus complex, within the license agreement Microsoft Enterprise Agreement existing since 2008, were performed by the partner of JSC Balakovorezinotekhnika – Softline company.

At the first stage of works on product introduction engineers of the Center of solutions of Softline unrolled Forefront on a pilot customer site. Then all necessary functionality was configured and implemented. Forefront Client Security was adapted according to an information system of the company. In the course of execution of works specialists of Softline trained the staff of JSC Balakovorezinotekhnika in independent management of a new anti-virus complex.

Metelev Igor, the head of department of an ACS of JSC Balakovorezinotekhnika, notes: "The IT system of Balakovorezinotekhnika company is very large-scale, and its stable work is necessary for us. We selected software from Microsoft for two reasons: first, the product Forefront Client Security became an optimal solution for ensuring reliable antivirus protection of workstations.

Secondly, with Microsoft we sign the agreement of Enterprise Agreement within which we cooperate not the first year. Earlier we already purchased at Softline company of the server and the license for workstations of production of Microsoft. For delivery and the Forefront Client Security installation we needed to sign only the supplementary agreement to the contract".
