In 2000 the decision on creation in NB RK of the effective and scalable environment of electronic office-work was made. The project received the name "Electronic Document Flow", and its accomplishment was entrusted to the general partner of LANIT in Kazakhstan to LANIT-AVE company.
By the end of the first year of work a system integrated 250 jobs at head office NB RK in Almaty. Annual operation of a system allowed to automate at head office of bank reporting according to the statistics of document flow and to execution control, to reduce time of passing of documents on a chain of office work transactions and to considerably accelerate search of necessary documents.
At the end of 2001 the management of NB RK suggested LANIT to work the standard solution on expansion of the EDOB system on bank branches. The standard solution was approved, and in 2002 the EDOB local system was unrolled in the NB RK central branch in Astana. To spring of 2003 exchange of electronic documents between the EDOB systems of head office and NB RK central branch was debugged and put in commercial operation. The decision on replication of a system on the remained 17 branches became the next step.
Works on replication of the EDOB system were carried out to branches in 2004. In 6 months all branches were consistently connected to a system by forces of one working group. Now branches work in the local mode. Total number of workplaces in which it is unrolled by LanDocs software is more than 1500.
In 2004 by software of LanDocs it was finished for ensuring compatibility with TUMAR CSP cryptoprovider and a public key infrastructure of CERTEX.
In NB RK works on providing the required security level of information exchange between central office and branches and also are performed on creation of a uniform geographically distributed circuit of electronic document management of NB RK covering central office and branches.
