Hermes Russia has expanded the self-pickup network thanks to cooperation with 5Post

2021: Organization of service for delivery of orders to the network of points of issue and postamats

On October 28, 2021, X5 Group announced that 5Post and logistics operator Hermes Russia had begun cooperation. Since November 2021, Hermes Russia customers will be able to use not only operator order issuance points, but also 16 thousand issuance points and 5Post pedestals throughout Russia.

The service of delivery of orders to the network of points of issue and postamats will be available for all online stores that do not work directly with 5Post: the service is connected through a single integration with Hermes.

At the end of October 2021, the joint project is ready for launch: the integration of software has been completed, the necessary tests have been carried out. 5Post will deliver goods from warehouses of online stores to the delivery points and pedestals chosen by the recipients. All communication with online stores and customers will be maintained by Hermes. When the order arrives at the point of issue or postamat, the consumer will receive SMS and notification by e-mail.

Thus, Hermes Russia will become a "single window" for online stores, giving the opportunity to get a range of logistics services in partnership with one company. Thanks to this, customers of the logistics operator, including small online retailers, will be able to save material resources and quickly use the 5Post network of delivery points and pedestals using Hermes.
