As reported, the Nokia G50 appeared in the American market in early October 2021 and is sold in two hull colors - sand and dark blue. The Russians are offered a smartphone in the same shades of the case at a price of 20 thousand rubles. What is important, in the United States the device costs more - $300 or 21.6 thousand rubles. at the rate of the Central Bank as of November 3, 2021, and this is excluding taxes. The configuration is one: 4 GB of RAM and a regular 128 GB drive.

When asked why the Russian price of the Nokia G50 was lower than the American one, Nokia representatives replied that pricing in each country is different and depends on duties and taxes of a particular region. Recall that in Russia there is a VAT of 20%. The case of the G50 is one of the rare exceptions, since the vast majority of gadgets when crossing the Russian border sharply rise in price. This can be seen on the example of all modern Apple technology, as well as on the Xiaomi Redmi 10 - the "classmate" of the Nokia G50, released in October 2021.

As the basis of its smartphone HMD, Global chose an American processor average level Qualcomm Snapdragon of 480 with 5G a built-in modem with cellular networks fifth-generation support. The chip is manufactured according to the 8nm process since January 2021 and comes with a pair of Kryo 460 Gold cores at 2 GHz and six Kryo 460 Silver at 1.8 GHz. The integrated video subsystem is the Adreno 619 with a clock frequency of 825 MHz.

The Nokia G50 screen is based on an IPS array with a 6.82 inch diagonal and a V-shaped cut-out for the front chamber. The display has a peak brightness of 450 nits, HD + resolution and 70 percent coverage of NTSC color space.

If the cut-out under the camera in the screen is barely noticeable, then it is simply impossible not to pay attention to the lower "chin." Gorilla Glass 3 reinforced glass is installed on top of the screen. Also available is the widest lower frame, which other manufacturers leave only in the cheapest smartphones. Its size is such that the Nokia logo fit into it.

One of the most important differences between the Nokia G50 and the vast majority of smartphones at a similar price available in Russia is the software component.

The G50 runs on a clean Android OS, without additional interfaces and branded applications. The exception is only Russian software, which all manufacturers are legally required to install on mobile phones.

The manufacturer ensures that the smartphone will receive operating system updates within two years from the release. Also promised three years of monthly security updates.

The Nokia G50 smartphone is equipped with four cameras, one front and three in the rear block. The front module, embedded in the display, takes pictures in a resolution of 8 MPs and has the function of improving selfies taken in the dark. In addition, the manufacturer reports the presence of electronic stabilization when shooting videos on the front module.

The main triple camera consists of a basic 48 MP sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5 MP sensor with a wide-angle lens. Nokia does not disclose other camera parameters. It is only known that the Nokia G50 provides a mode for photography in conditions of insufficient illumination and a "Pro" mode with manual settings and the ability to take pictures in RAW format.

Estimated at 20 thousand rubles. Nokia G50 will offer customers NFC a chip for payment goods and services, an FM tuner for listening to radio battery and a capacity of 5000 mAh with support for fast charging of 18 W to -C USB. According to Nokia, the power of the complete power supply is 10 W (5 V, 2 A). The smartphone has an input under earphones 3.5 mm, a receiver (GPS support is not GLONASS mentioned), a slot for cards microSD up to 512 GB, as well as modules 5.0 Bluetooth and 5. Wi-Fi

The G50 has a separate Google Assistant call button (it understands Russian since July 2018), and a fingerprint scanner is built into the turn-on button. The smartphone weighs 220 grams with sizes of 174x78x9 mm. The delivery set is supplemented by a protective case[1].
